When it came to naming SWAN's new Element-brand Viper® hose, nothing short of one of the deadliest snakes in the world would do. That's because the Viper® is the toughest rubber hose on the market today, ideal for the most rigorous and demanding hose uses. This premium rubber garden hose features an industry-leading 600 psi burst strength coupled with a wide 5/8 in inside diameter, so the Viper® all-rubber garden hose can withstand a large volume of water flowing through it at great speed. To protect this high-performance rubber garden hose from bursting, the Viper® is made of an exceptional dual-weave construction that gives it twice the strength of standard rubber hoses, yet it's also 40 percent lighter for extreme manageability. The Viper® heavy-duty rubber garden hose also upholds its high performance in a variety of temperatures, remaining flexible from 40 deg F up to hot water at 165 deg F. For optimal kink resistance, the Viper® ultra durable rubber hose was crafted with a unique octagonal shape, as well as SWAN's patented Hose Armor® at the female coupling to resist kinking at the water source. This heavy-duty rubber hose's aluminum couplings are also superior: They're oversized, ergonomic and remain crush-proof up to 4,000 pounds, so they can bear the weight should heavy machinery run over them.
